This is a 1958 Budd RDC {Rail Diesel Car}. It was originally with CN passenger services, transferred to VIA Rail, then finally back to CN and converted to a track geometry car. It measures all sorts of track parameters. This was its first appearance in the area since CN reacquired the Renfrew, Beachburg and Vankleek lines.
