“Pro drivers won’t help” I can see you’ve never driven a powerful car. The more power (any) car makes, especially one that gets the full torque hit immediately, the more “squirrely” it gets. Add slicks to give traction, and you can count on a wheelstand or breakage. Get out of that Geo Metro and put some real power down….Then go change your shorts. A Fuel dragster goes 0-300 mph in the 3.5 second range. 11.5′s are nice, try 3.5′s.

Ok.. That electric car (if the 0-60mph specs are correct) may beat that SRT-10 Viper in a drag race. However this race looks as if it was STAGED and NOT real. Look at the speed of the cars crossing the finish line at 1:20. They are barely moving. Anyone who has seen real drag racing knows that those cars would be going close to 100 mph by the finish even if it was only an 1/8th mile (just guessing) race.
2 seconds of common sense would tell you this isn’t an NHRA drag race meeting with 20 ESPN cameras situated along the 1/4 mile. In fact it seems pretty obvious this was filmed by a documentary crew, in a car park marked out with cones, probably using just 1 camera with multiple takes! Doesn’t make the slightest bit of difference to who would’ve won.
