One of the best ways to save the environment is to elect Officials that will focus on reducing immigration.
In America, nearly all the population growth in the last 40 years has been via immigration, over 100 million more and we are on track to go to 500 million in a few decades. The world does not need 300 million more American consumers and America does not need 300 million more immigrants. Go to Numbersusa for more info on immigration and to fax your senators for free.

That’s how we plan on lowering emissions brought on by cows. You happened along the next step!

barrywilliamsmb November 19, 2009 at 8:29 AM

Uhh, when I get a world view, I want these folks singing about it!

Out, Damn Tune. Out!

ninjayang November 19, 2009 at 8:29 AM

And as soon as we get the power grid switched to solar/wind, etc., then it will be all good!!

zenokarasu November 19, 2009 at 8:46 AM

Because the whole song is done with an environmentalist theme. Drive an electric car; reduce air pollution & greenhouse gasses; be in harmony with nature; save the environment for the animals. Get it?

What type of plant makes the mercury batteries? A mercury producing terrible one devoid of any life for miles around it in canada.

MysticGecko November 19, 2009 at 10:20 AM

I was playing Farmville on Facebook and listening to this song on repeat and I started to sing, “an electric cow”. XD

JackOfSpades93 November 19, 2009 at 11:13 AM

Why is she driving with animals?

atarom November 19, 2009 at 11:34 AM

haha when they drive underwater it reminds me of the simpsons episode where they test drive an electric car and homer drives it into the water..

felidor72 November 19, 2009 at 12:13 PM

My kid LOVES this video. Nothing cuter than a 1 and half year old singing about an electric car!

Chaosblade777 November 19, 2009 at 12:28 PM

Most batteries these days, including ones for electric cars, use lithium-ion batteries, not mercury-cadmium as I imagine you are suggesting. As well, getting rid of fossil-fuel…err…fueled cars would at least transfer the main sources of GHGs and pollution to power plants rather than fleets of petroleum-burning cars.

I met the people that made this. They are both incredibly awesome and talented. I wish I was this good at animation.
